We picked this piece up this summer in Ohio. We got it to the shop and put it under a table and kind of forgot about it. I grabbed it on my way out this weekend determined to clean her up and give her a new life.
Here is her before. We're not sure what she was used for, but her top is mesh and the inside of her drawers are all galvanized metal. Some sort of drying rack??
I know...pretty gross.
Here she is with a fresh coat of Old White Chalk Paint™.
I sanded her down quite a bit to rough her up. She was so rough when she came in, so I thought she should retains some of that authenticity.
I think she looks great as an end table.
